I received the following statement in an email. It is reprinted here with the email sender's permission.

Hi,

I've been reading your website about gangs and found this questionable statement:

"If you didn't see American History X, here's what it shows - in full color and in all its gory detail. A Skinhead (a Caucasian gang known for its ideologically-based hatred of African-Americans and other minorities)."

No - this is only very partially true of skin culture.

Indeed, Skinhead culture itself has been the victim of misrepresentation for three decades now as a result of a small minority who perpetrate hatred.

I'd like you to change that reference.
